BuildSignal (“we”) helps users research software demand from public X conversations. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Data we collect

• Account email and authentication identifiers (Supabase Auth)
• Scan inputs you submit (audience, query, filters)
• Research outputs we generate (opportunities, evidence summaries)
• Billing metadata via Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)
• Product analytics events without sensitive scan content
• AI usage metrics for cost control (tokens, cost, success)

How we use data

To provide scans, store history, bill subscriptions, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and comply with law. Retrieved X/web content is treated as untrusted evidence and used only to produce research results.

Sharing

We use processors including Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, Upstash (rate limiting), and xAI for research. Share pages are unlisted by default and only become indexable if you make them public.

Retention

Account and scan data persist while your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting the operator via jacobryanlive.com.
